Head of Clinical Development, Pulse (AI Cardiometabolic Care)

What you will do

• Drive clinical outcomes and program architecture for Pulse, an AI cardiometabolic care solution covering hypertension, pre-diabetes, and GLP-1 support.
• Set clinical validation standards for product features, workflows, interventions, and AI-supported experiences before and after launch.
• Translate clinical requirements into product features, operational workflows, member experiences, and AI behavior in partnership with Product, AI, Clinical Operations, and Go-to-Market.
• Define clinical roles, therapeutic boundaries, prohibited behaviors, guardrails, evaluation rubrics, acceptance criteria, and release thresholds for Pulse’s AI experiences.
• Monitor and interpret clinical outcomes, member and clinician feedback, annotator feedback, and post-launch findings to guide product, protocol, workflow, and training changes.
• Represent Pulse’s clinical perspective in internal AI monitoring and governance boards and serve as an external clinical voice for the product.

Requirements

• Licensed clinician: MD, DO, NP, RD, or PharmD.
• 8+ years of clinical experience, including 3+ years in a clinical leadership role within digital health, health-tech, or value-based care.
• Deep expertise in hypertension, pre-diabetes and diabetes, obesity, and GLP-1 therapeutics.
• Experience owning a clinical outcomes framework, including metrics, evidence standards, and translation of outcomes into commercial value.
• Experience partnering directly with product and engineering teams and defining clinical guardrails and evaluation criteria for AI-supported care.
• Strong writing and narrative skills, including authoring whitepapers, talk tracks, and clinical claims language.

Nice to have

• Third-party clinical partnerships, protocol definition, and clinical service agreements.
• Experience with AI-supported or AI-native care delivery, prompt design, guardrails, or clinical AI evaluation rubrics.
• Familiarity with cardiometabolic prescribing, titration, and medication management in digital health.
• Experience with outcomes-based or value-based contracting and evidence-supported pricing.
• Experience at a high-growth digital health company.
