Accounting Intern

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States; hybrid work arrangements available. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

What you will do

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and participate in month-end closing.
• Assist with the annual financial statement audit.
• Prepare and audit recurring operational reports.
• Prepare monthly reporting for external customer programs.
• Contribute to Accounting team strategic initiatives and support customer service.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.25.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and communication skills.
• Initiative, sound business judgment, resilience when facing challenges, and willingness to learn.
• Must already be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Previous internships or work experience in finance or accounting.
