What you will do

• Monitor market and operational risk exposures in real time across proprietary trading and options market-making.
• Manage daily risk processes and communicate risk issues and requirements to the Risk team, CRO, trading, and support stakeholders.
• Interpret and develop risk metrics and enhance the risk monitoring and reporting framework.
• Collaborate with technologists and Risk colleagues to improve algorithmic trading controls, systems, and processes.
• Contribute to risk mitigation workstreams and global risk-focused projects.
• Support risk management across listed options algorithmic trading, interest rates, credit, commodities, equities, and fixed income derivatives.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in proprietary trading or a buy-side financial institution.
• Core expertise in equity-focused strategies and fixed income derivatives; options experience is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of broader trading strategies and asset classes, such as convertible bonds.
• Advanced qualification in finance, STEM, or another quantitative field.
• Exceptional report writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Understanding of AI applications in the workplace, basic knowledge of a programming language such as Python, and a calm approach under pressure.
