Occ Health Nurse (MedTech)

Location: Zuchwil and Zug, Switzerland; hybrid work with on-site occupational health services and minimal travel within Switzerland

What you will do

• Provide occupational health nursing services, including assessment, triage, and first-line clinical care.
• Manage work-related injury and illness cases, including treatment coordination, documentation, and return-to-work support.
• Support health surveillance, medical monitoring, psychosocial risk assessments, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage occupational health vendors and healthcare provider relationships.
• Maintain confidential employee medical records in line with privacy regulations and company policies.
• Partner with EHS, facilities, HR, and business leaders to identify and mitigate workplace health risks, investigate incidents, and deliver employee education.

Requirements

• Nursing diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Valid nursing license or registration in Switzerland.
• Typically 4–6 years of experience in occupational health, employee health, or clinical nursing.
• Knowledge of occupational health regulations, clinical best practices, and employee health programs.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, case management, vendor management, communication, and confidentiality skills.
• German is required; English proficiency is preferred.

Nice to have

• Additional training or certification in Occupational Health, Public Health, or a related discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing, healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences.
• Experience with external occupational health vendors, wellness initiatives, workplace health surveillance, ergonomics, or injury prevention.
