Finance Reporting Specialist

Location: Cairo, Egypt (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day execution of statutory audits, including coordinating with auditors and managing PBC requests.
• Prepare statutory financial statements under IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Build and maintain a group regulatory reporting tracker to ensure all filings and deadlines are met.
• Own regulator comments and queries, driving them through to resolution.
• Maintain reconciliations between management ledgers and statutory accounts.
• Develop and improve reporting processes, templates, and working paper standards to enhance scalability.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in audit and/or financial reporting, with external audit experience strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and financial reporting fundamentals.
• Professional qualification or progress towards ACCA, ACA, CPA, ESAA, or equivalent.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Egyptian Accounting Standards.
• Knowledge of financial services or regulated entities.
• Experience with multi-entity or cross-border reporting.
• Proficiency in Arabic.
• Experience with tax compliance or ERP migrations.
