Software Engineer, Product Security - Security Automation (Remote)

Location: USA - Remote, TX

Salary: $120,000–$180,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonuses and equity grants.

What you will do

• Build and operate robust, scalable systems supporting the Product Security organization.
• Design and implement security tooling and automation for software supply chain security, AI-powered vulnerability discovery, and multi-cloud visibility.
• Develop applications, APIs, and frameworks for securing a global multi-cloud production environment.
• Partner with Product Security teams on tooling strategy, risk assessments, and architectural deep dives.
• Own SRE practices, CI/CD, and datastore operations for mission-critical security services.
• Implement performance monitoring and response processes for critical security operations.

Requirements

• Professional software engineering experience with event-driven systems, data ingestion pipelines, and internal automation or monitoring tools.
• Development experience with Golang, Python, React, Angular, and/or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containers, cryptographic signing, and open-source dependencies.
• Experience operating production datastores and queues such as OpenSearch, Valkey, Postgres, Kafka, or SQS, including capacity and maintenance ownership.
• Experience with Generative AI and building services that leverage LLMs, configuration management, orchestration, cloud-scale Linux environments, and AWS or GCP.
• Background in Product Security, cybersecurity operations or incident response, telemetry analysis, and end-to-end SDLC ownership.
