Account to Report DS Team Lead (Accounting)

Location: Taguig, National Capital Region (Manila), Philippines; full-time role with night-shift availability required.

What you will do

• Lead accounting and daily operations for Global Services Finance accounting process areas.
• Manage timely financial period closing and execution in line with service-level commitments, compliance, Internal Audit, and SOX requirements.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity of actuals reported within the assigned process and entity scope.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, ageing monitoring, transaction accounting, and reduction of open items.
• Support auditors and legal authorities, maintain internal controls, and identify compliance risks.
• Coordinate global and cross-functional alignment, training, talent management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
• At least 3 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a shared service or BPO organization.
• Experience in Account to Report or General Accounting processes and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, communicate clearly, and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluent English and availability to work a night shift.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, MBA, or another financial certification.
• Supervisory experience and experience with work migration.
• US GAAP accounting knowledge.
• Digital or intelligent automation capabilities.
• Additional language skills.
