Director, Global Diagnostics Strategy Lead (Precision Medicine)

What you will do

• Develop and lead end-to-end global diagnostic strategies for assigned molecules and therapeutic programs.
• Align diagnostic and therapeutic development objectives with product teams, program leadership, and governance forums.
• Evaluate assay and platform options, regulatory and commercial pathways, partner strategies, costs, timelines, risks, and trade-offs.
• Lead Dx Development Teams and integrate diagnostic plans with clinical trial execution and therapeutic development plans.
• Oversee diagnostic partner selection and collaboration through development, approval, launch, and commercialization.
• Lead global and regional launch, access, commercialization, and lifecycle management planning while influencing stakeholders in a matrix environment.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or master's degree plus 8 years, or bachelor's degree plus 10 years in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics, clinical development, or a related field.
• Direct experience developing and implementing diagnostic, companion diagnostic, or precision medicine strategies.
• Knowledge of clinical, regulatory, commercial, and access considerations for global diagnostic development and launch.
• Experience with oncology precision medicine, in vitro diagnostics, companion diagnostics, biomarker assay development, or diagnostic platform lifecycle management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, influencing without authority, managing partners, and working with senior stakeholders.
• Strong executive communication, project leadership, resource planning, timeline management, risk mitigation, and financial awareness skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in biomedical sciences, medicine, diagnostics, molecular biology, pathology, genomics, oncology, or a related discipline.
• Experience with global regulatory submissions, diagnostic evidence requirements, clinical trial design, and biomarker-driven enrollment or testing strategies.
• Experience in business development, alliance management, partner governance, market landscape assessment, and business case development.
