Summer 2027 Corporate Intern: Global Audit

Location: Onsite at the Bentonville Home Office, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $21.00–$40.00 per hour

What you will do

• Work on strategically relevant audit projects related to finance, accounting, governance, IT, or operational risk.
• Participate in the full audit project lifecycle, from engagement planning through audit report writing.
• Conduct internal and external research and benchmarking.
• Manage milestones and deliverables for assigned projects.
• Partner with associates across teams to identify solutions and present recommendations.
• Present audit results to senior audit and business leaders and recommend action plans to resolve issues.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, organization, and time-management skills.
• Structured thinking, big-picture perspective, servant leadership, and attention to detail.
• Must not require Walmart sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Studies in finance, accounting, business, management information systems, or another relevant major.
