Staff Manufacturing Scientist (Medical Devices)

Location: On-site in Chaska, Minnesota, United States

Annual salary: $115,000–$145,000, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead and support complex multi-site consumable manufacturing and process improvement projects.
• Identify consumable design and process improvement opportunities with internal customers.
• Define user requirements, conduct risk analyses, and prepare verification and validation test plans and reports.
• Execute design transfers in the medical device industry.
• Lead teams through technical process and related equipment improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related technical field with 9+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 7+ years, or a Doctoral degree with 4+ years.
• Demonstrated experience with design change, risk management, design requirements, design validation and verification, and design transfer.
• Experience in project management.
• Experience working in a GMP environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Chaska, Minnesota.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of statistics.
• Experience with cell culture techniques.
