Staff Process Engineer (MedTech)

Location: Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico; onsite role

What you will do

• Review engineering requirements, standards, specifications, drawings, designs, and test plans.
• Design complex mechanical, electronic, and electrical assemblies and systems using standard components.
• Plan and conduct engineering tests, analyze test data, and improve processes, equipment, products, and procedures.
• Lead high-impact engineering projects involving multiple workstreams and provide technical guidance to engineers, drafters, and technicians.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, reports, proposals, presentations, schedules, and resource estimates.
• Ensure compliance with company requirements and federal, state, and local health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering; a master’s degree or certification is recommended.
• 6–8 years of professional experience in engineering, manufacturing, or related work.
• Knowledge of manufacturing principles, productive processes, good manufacturing practices, process control, and documentation.
• Experience leading projects with two or more workstreams using a project management methodology.
• Knowledge of experiment design, statistical analysis tools, and statistical procedures.
• Oral and written Spanish and advanced English required.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma certification.
• Experience in the medical device industry or medical field.
• Experience using medical device equipment.
