What you will do

• Collect and prepare clinical laboratory and study-specific specimens according to patient schedules and study protocols.
• Record vital signs, fasting status, pain and fatigue scales, and other required patient information.
• Perform quality ECGs in accordance with clinical trial protocols.
• Assist registered nurses and physicians with patient procedures and examinations.
• Prepare laboratory requisitions and supplies while maintaining clean draw stations and work areas.
• Track inventory and request supplies as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Medical assistant certification or phlebotomy certification is required.
• Previous experience in a health-related field is preferred.
• Must work onsite in Fairfax, Virginia.
