AI Security Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Research emerging threats across ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, Glean, and agentic frameworks.
• Develop threat models and data models for AI applications, agents, identities, permissions, tools, integrations, and data flows.
• Build production-grade AI security products, backend services, APIs, and scalable security telemetry pipelines.
• Develop queries, detection rules, behavioral models, risk assessments, investigations, and remediation capabilities.
• Evaluate AI platform APIs, audit logs, authentication mechanisms, OAuth permissions, and security controls.
• Collaborate with Security Research, Detection Engineering, Product Management, Data Platform, and SRE teams across Taiwan, the US, the UK, and Australia.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience building production-quality backend services, cloud-native applications, data platforms, or security products.
• Hands-on programming experience with Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, or a comparable backend language.
• Experience designing scalable APIs, distributed systems, or data-processing pipelines.
• Strong data analysis skills, including SQL or other query languages.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms, identity systems, authentication, authorization, and OAuth.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with cybersecurity, identity security, SaaS security, threat detection, SIEM, EDR, XDR, or security analytics products.
• Experience securing AI applications, large language models, copilots, autonomous agents, or LLM application frameworks.
• Knowledge of prompt injection, RAG poisoning, insecure tool use, excessive agency, and sensitive-data disclosure.
• Experience with audit logs, OAuth grants, detection rules, behavioral analytics, risk models, attack-path analysis, or large-scale processing.
• Mandarin proficiency and experience collaborating with globally distributed engineering teams.
