TL;DR
Field Medical Advisor (Immunology/Rheumatology) (Medical Affairs): Building scientific partnerships, medical education programs, and local evidence-generation initiatives for immunology and rheumatology treatments with an accent on clinical studies, scientific communication, and stakeholder engagement. Focus on developing physician networks, attracting clinical studies to Finland, supporting reimbursement submissions, and translating medical insights into evidence-based strategy.

Location: Office-based in Espoo, Finland, preferably the Helsinki area; travel within Finland up to 1–3 days per week and occasional longer congress travel abroad.

Base pay: €76,900–€132,595 per year.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain relationships with leading Finnish specialist physicians and healthcare stakeholders in immunology and rheumatology.
  • Communicate scientific and medical data to specialists and broader healthcare audiences.
  • Develop and coordinate medical education programs, including speaker support and collaboration with scientific third parties.
  • Provide strategic medical input based on treatment patterns, scientific activities, and stakeholder insights.
  • Lead local evidence-generation programs and support medical input for reimbursement submissions.
  • Attract and support clinical studies in Finland and collaborate with Clinical Operations on medical affairs activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in medicine, pharmacy, or life sciences.
  • Proficiency in Finnish and English, both verbal and written.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to accommodate business travel.
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific data clearly and work collaboratively across functions.
  • High standards of scientific integrity, compliance, and medical communication.

Nice to have

  • PhD in life sciences.
  • Experience in immunology or rheumatology through education, research, or industry.
  • Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or similar industry experience.
