Senior Event Specialist- Alberta

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design and execution of client and hirify.global-produced events.
• Develop creative concepts, floorplans, mood boards, visual presentations, staging, signage, floral, furniture layouts, and thematic décor.
• Manage timelines, budgets, workback schedules, procurement, purchase orders, quotes, and invoices.
• Lead on-site installations and live event execution while anticipating and resolving issues.
• Coordinate clients, vendors, venues, production, creative, digital, and sales teams.
• Mentor Junior Event Specialists and Coordinators and support inventory strategy and department planning.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in event design, planning, or production.
• Experience designing and managing both internal and external events.
• Strong visual storytelling and design sensibility.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Microsoft Office experience; Polaris and SmartSheet knowledge is an asset.
• Ability to work in hotel and convention-center environments, including irregular hours, weekends, holidays, on-call periods, and exposure to heights via lifts and ladders.
