Mobile Game Developer (Objective-C/Cocos)

What you will do

• Maintain and extend a legacy Objective-C and Cocos codebase.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and runtime behavior for mobile devices.
• Refactor and modernize systems while ensuring stability for live operations.
• Ship new features and events in a live-service environment.
• Integrate AI-assisted workflows for code generation, debugging, and testing.
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics teams to drive game impact.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Objective-C and iOS development.
• Hands-on experience with Cocos (Cocos2d-x or similar).
• Proven ability to navigate and improve legacy codebases.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization (CPU, memory, rendering).
• Pragmatic mindset with a focus on high-leverage technical decisions.
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools like Copilot or ChatGPT in daily workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++.
• Familiarity with game loops, rendering pipelines, and animation systems.
• Experience migrating legacy systems to modern architectures.
• Exposure to analytics-driven development and A/B testing.
