TL;DR

Senior Data Engineer (Python/SQL/Data Platform): Building internal data services such as a Feature Store and scalable EL/ELT/ETL pipelines with an accent on event-driven systems, streaming, and high-load data processing. Focus on integrating data storage and processing tools, designing scalable systems, and developing APIs and message-driven integrations.

Location: Remote from Poland; fully remote

What you will do

Develop internal data services, including a Feature Store.
Build EL, ELT, and ETL data pipelines.
Integrate tools for data processing and storage.
Support high-load and scalable data processing and storage systems.
Perform operational tasks for the Data Services Team.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ML Engineer, or Backend Engineer.
Experience developing high-load and scalable data processing and storage systems.
Knowledge of event-driven systems and streaming pipelines.
Strong Python and SQL skills, including best practices.
Knowledge of system design best practices.
Experience with Airflow, Debezium, BigQuery or ClickHouse, PostgreSQL or CockroachDB, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, GCP, REST or gRPC APIs, message brokers, and queues.

Nice to have

Go development experience.
Experience with relational, MPP, and NoSQL data storage systems.
Additional Google Cloud Platform experience.
