Wage Agency Instructor - Manufacturing Assistance (Manufacturing)

Location: Telecommuter based in Corpus Christi, Texas, with training delivered throughout the State of Texas

Salary: $45.00 per hour

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service provides emergency response training, workforce training, and technical assistance.

What you will do

• Coordinate, prepare, and deliver Lean, Quality Management Systems, and maintenance training.
• Teach mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to technicians, managers, and executives.
• Apply adult learning theories and varied instructional methods to support knowledge transfer and learner success.
• Use multiple media formats to present course materials.
• Contribute to curriculum development to maintain course relevance and meet customer needs.
• Provide training to manufacturing, commercial, and government organizations across Texas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• One year of experience in adult education and/or training in Lean manufacturing tools.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Equivalent qualifications may include an associate’s degree plus seven years of engineering or manufacturing experience, or a high school diploma plus nine years of such experience.
• Employment is contingent on credential verification and completion of a criminal history check.
