Adjunct Instructor - Mechanical or Civil Engineering

Location: Texarkana, Texas, United States; courses may be delivered face-to-face, web-enhanced, hybrid, or online. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.

Compensation: $3,300 per undergraduate section with a master’s degree or $3,800 per campus undergraduate section with a PhD.

What you will do

• Teach undergraduate Mechanical or Civil Engineering courses.
• Deliver courses in face-to-face, web-enhanced, hybrid, or online formats.
• Load course content, including assessments and lecture modules.
• Grade student work and meet with students.
• Submit grades and complete census and grade deadlines.
• Handle additional course administration as needed.

Requirements

• For undergraduate courses, a master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a related field.
• At least 18 graduate-level credit hours in the teaching discipline.
• Degree and coursework must come from a regionally accredited institution.
• For graduate-level teaching, a doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a closely related field is required.
• United States work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Resume or CV, graduate transcripts, and at least two professional references must be submitted.
