Manager II Operations (Foreign Exchange)

Location: In office at 555 South Flower Street, Los Angeles, California, US, or in New York, New York; Jacksonville, Florida; or Charlotte, North Carolina.

Starting base salary: $87,027–$138,965 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Manage capital markets back-office operations supporting FX front-office and interest rate risk management teams.
• Process and authorize FX and interest rate transactions, including swap interest payments, SWIFT wires and messages, and bank fundings.
• Oversee reporting, movement of funds between client and internal bank accounts, customer inquiries, and escalations.
• Lead and develop a diverse operations organization, including staffing, training, performance management, payroll records, and career planning.
• Coordinate with Technology, Compliance, Risk, Sales, Trading, and other internal business units.
• Implement process, system, product, and workflow improvements while managing operational risk, budget, schedule, and business impact.

Requirements

• At least five years of banking operations experience in a financial institution.
• At least five years of banking and operations management experience.
• At least two years of experience managing projects and/or teams.
• Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and controls, including OFAC, BSA, and AML.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, project management, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of financial and budget processes, with the ability to create presentations and facilitate groups or teams.
