Internship - Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Aarhus C, Denmark. Full-time, five-month onsite internship beginning 1 February 2027. You must be enrolled in a Danish study program and based in Denmark during the internship.

What you will do

• Develop and experiment with machine learning and AI models for healthcare products, including natural language processing, speech recognition, and translation.
• Assist with prompt engineering and large language model applications.
• Process, analyse, and visualise data of different shapes and sizes.
• Contribute to model evaluation, documentation, and testing.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, architects, product managers, and domain experts.
• Participate in technical sparring sessions, code reviews, and innovation activities.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an MSc in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Practical Python experience with data analysis and statistical or machine learning modelling, such as TensorFlow or Transformers.
• Experience developing or implementing machine learning models from data preprocessing through evaluation.
• Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, data handling, model evaluation, and data visualisation.
• Fluent spoken and written English is required.
• A clean criminal record and residence in a NATO and/or EU country for the past seven years are required for security-classified projects.

Nice to have

• Danish language skills.
• Knowledge of Docker and FastAPI.
