Localization Vendor & Resource Manager

Location: Rome, Italy; flexible remote work with periodic presence required at the Rome HQ

Salary: €28,000–€48,000 gross annual compensation, depending on experience, location, responsibilities, and performance.

What you will do

• Source, evaluate, and recruit language professionals and specialized contributors across translation, DTP, AI annotation, copywriting, and interpreting.
• Qualify and rank professionals using data-driven processes to improve project matching and responsiveness.
• Maintain accurate, standardized, and up-to-date linguist and contributor databases.
• Analyze trends, forecast language and service needs, and identify talent gaps across markets and service types.
• Optimize recruitment costs and resource coverage against operational targets.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Account Managers, and Quality Managers, and report on recruitment funnel performance and resource quality.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Vendor Manager, Resource Manager, or Community Manager in the language industry.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data insights into recruitment strategies.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with freelancers and partners.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, databases, spreadsheets, analytics dashboards, and web-based tools.
• Fluency in English is required.
