Senior Medical Manager - Diagnostics

Location: Taipei, Taiwan; occasional business travel to Hong Kong is required.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end rare disease diagnostics projects across local and global initiatives, managing milestones, outcomes, documentation, budgets, and impact metrics.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams for the Taiwan and Hong Kong diagnostics portfolio and align execution with local healthcare-system dynamics.
• Support diagnostic strategy development, scientific affairs projects, portfolio connectivity, and identification of emerging technologies.
• Provide medical affairs support for rare disease therapeutic areas, including KOL engagement, scientific communication, medical education, real-world evidence, and insight generation.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders, patient advocacy groups, and medical societies to advance rare disease awareness, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Conduct medical inquiries, pharmacovigilance, and medical-funded clinical studies while reviewing materials for compliance and providing disease and product training.

Requirements

• Master of Science degree in a healthcare-related or biological science field, such as pharmacy, pharmacology, biochemistry, genetics, or molecular biology.
• At least 3 years of medical experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
• Strong strategic, planning, organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of clinical trial practices, local regulations, the healthcare ecosystem, patient support, and education.
• Ability to manage multiple therapeutic areas or complex, multi-stakeholder projects in a dynamic environment.
• Experience or strong interest in rare diseases, genetic disorders, or specialty care.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as MD, PhD, or PharmD.
• Familiarity with diagnostic pathways, genetic testing, or newborn screening programs.
• Experience with specialty or rare disease product and market dynamics.
