TL;DR
Manager Corporate Communications and Community Affairs (Corporate Communications): Leading internal and external communications, executive messaging, employee experiences, community events, and communications support for business initiatives with an accent on stakeholder engagement, media relations, and employee communications. Focus on managing the intranet strategy, delivering company-wide events, supporting product launches, and coaching the Employee and Community Affairs team.

Location: Toronto office at 483 Bay Street, moving to the Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway in approximately late 2026. Current work authorization for Canada is required. The role follows a flexible hybrid schedule; remote and in-office options are also available.

Annual total cash compensation, including base salary and target bonus, ranges from $140,000 to $165,000 CAD.

What you will do

  • Lead internal communications strategy, executive messaging, and company-wide employee communications.
  • Own the intranet strategy, governance, content, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the top employer awards program in partnership with HR.
  • Plan and deliver employee experiences, company-wide meetings, volunteer experiences, and special events.
  • Support external communications, media relations, product launches, and key business initiatives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Employee and Community Affairs team while partnering with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • University degree in Communications, Journalism, Media, Political Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of communications experience, preferably in financial services or another regulated industry.
  • Expertise in internal and external communications, media relations, and project management.
  • Strong stakeholder partnership and people leadership skills.
  • Ability to deliver clear, engaging, and aligned communications across multiple channels.
  • Current authorization to work in Canada is required.
