Advanced Data Science Associate (Machine Learning/Statistics): Develops statistically effective algorithms and applies machine learning, hypothesis testing, retrieval processes, and data mining to analyze complex, high-dimensional datasets with an accent on predictive modeling, text mining, and recommender systems. Focus on designing analytical solutions, evaluating emerging datasets and technologies, and communicating findings with clients and stakeholders.
Location: Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Hybrid schedule with onsite work at clients or offices three days per week and remote work two days per week. Client-facing work may require travel as needed.

What you will do
- Develop efficient, statistically effective algorithms for high-dimensional problems.
- Apply hypothesis testing, machine learning, retrieval processes, and data mining to identify trends and analyze information.
- Create figures and communicate analytical findings effectively.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to integrate analytical solutions.
- Assess emerging datasets and technologies affecting the analytical platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, economics, or a relevant field.
- Strong academic performance and coursework focused on analysis and quantitative skills.
- Knowledge of big data, advanced analytics, and algorithms, including text mining, social listening, recommender systems, or predictive modeling.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or R.
- Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, Amazon Web Services, or database systems.
- Fluency in English is required.
