Adjunct Instructor - Chemistry (Fort Worth)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas; teaching duties are associated with the Fort Worth campus and may be delivered in person or through approved instructional modalities.

What you will do

• Plan and deliver chemistry lectures, seminars, and laboratory instruction for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Develop course syllabi, select instructional materials, and create exams, quizzes, papers, and other assessments.
• Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and evaluate learning outcomes.
• Engage students through active learning, critical thinking, discussion, collaboration, and hands-on learning.
• Provide office hours, academic guidance, feedback, and mentoring.
• Follow university policies, academic integrity standards, accreditation requirements, and Campus Security Authority responsibilities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field from an accredited university.
• At least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to teach chemistry at the undergraduate and graduate levels and collaborate professionally with students, staff, and faculty.
• Ability to work at the Fort Worth campus when in-person instruction is required.

Nice to have

• Doctorate or terminal degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
• Previous collegiate-level online teaching experience.
