Senior Manager, Artificial Intelligence Data Engineer

Location: Tarrytown, NY; Armonk, NY; or Warren, NJ offices. Onsite expectations apply. Travel may be required up to 20%.

What you will do

• Develop and optimize clinical data schemas, data models, pipelines, infrastructure, and architecture.
• Design and document end-to-end data architectures supporting analytics, operations, research, and digital transformation.
• Help implement a modern data platform using technologies such as Snowflake and Databricks.
• Improve interoperability, standardization, and data quality across enterprise systems and CRO partner data.
• Collaborate with informatics and AI engineers to optimize clinical data pipelines and machine learning integration.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship while evaluating new data engineering technologies.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience developing and leading data engineering solutions in life sciences or healthcare.
• Advanced degree in computer science, statistics, biomedical informatics, or a related field preferred; PhD plus 2 years or MS plus 4 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in clinical or biomedical data infrastructure and architecture, modern data platforms, Python, SQL, and related programming languages.
• Experience building, scaling, maintaining, and integrating structured and unstructured data pipelines across an enterprise.
• Proficiency in cloud architecture, DevOps practices, code repositories, and version control.
• Deep understanding of HIPAA, GDPR, 21 CFR Part 11, CDISC, HL7, and FHIR.

• Recognized cloud or related technical certifications.
• Knowledge of machine learning pipelines and clinical data platform integration.
