Principal, Legal Counsel (Logistics)

What you will do

• Monitor and analyze Taiwanese regulatory developments affecting logistics operations, including transportation and labor matters.
• Provide legal guidance for new service models, operational improvements, partnerships, and strategic logistics initiatives.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and amend services, procurement, insurance, and carrier agreements.
• Manage logistics-related disputes through fact-finding, legal analysis, and development of countermeasures.
• Support governance and compliance frameworks for logistics operations.
• Advise compliance, government relations, operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney in Taiwan or foreign-qualified lawyer with substantial experience practicing in Taiwan.
• At least five years of post-qualification legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal role.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and communicate practical solutions to non-specialists.
• Sound judgment, initiative, prioritization, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Fluency in Mandarin and strong English proficiency.
• Experience combining law firm and in-house legal work, especially at a leading law firm or large corporation.
• Knowledge of fulfillment services, logistics, e-commerce, or labor and employment law.
