Senior Front-End Developer (React Developer)

Location: Chennai, India; hybrid with in-person work at an assigned hirify.global office at least two days per week

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable, modular front-end architectures and enterprise web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Build applications with modern React frameworks such as Next.js and Remix.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, bundle sizes, caching, and overall application performance.
• Create and maintain reusable UI component libraries and design system components.
• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and microservice architectures.
• Lead code reviews, improve CI/CD and release processes, troubleshoot production issues, and mentor junior and mid-level developers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 5+ years developing production React applications.
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, responsive CSS3, and technologies such as Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or SASS.
• Strong experience with production-ready React frameworks, specifically Next.js or Remix.
• Experience building complex single-page and server-rendered applications, scalable front-end architectures, and state management solutions.
• Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress or Playwright, modern build tooling, and CI/CD automation.
• Advanced Git, branching, and monorepo management knowledge, plus experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and mentoring developers.
