KYC/KYB Analyst - Japanese Speaker (Web3)

What you will do

• Review client enquiries related to individual and corporate onboarding.
• Conduct KYC/KYB due diligence and collect supporting evidence from clients.
• Assess risks, perform trigger reviews and enhanced due diligence, and monitor AML flags.
• Document and escalate unusual activities, key risks, and operational issues.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Compliance, Product, and regional stakeholders.
• Participate in AML/CFT training and contribute to knowledge sharing and related administration.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in customer support, KYC/KYB operations, onboarding, or compliance.
• Knowledge of applicable local laws, directives, regulations, compliance practices, and virtual-currency policies.
• Proficiency with compliance applications such as World-Check, Liquid, and Kodex.
• Strong risk-assessment, trigger-review, enhanced-due-diligence, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Fluency in English and Japanese is required.
• Accountability for the end-to-end onboarding process and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
