Focus on analyzing hazardous materials, conducting root cause analysis, responding to audits and government inquiries, and performing in-person audits and investigations across laboratory and office environments.
Location: Korea, Republic of; regular in-person inspections, audits, and investigations with travel to other sites required

What you will do
- Develop, document, and maintain EHS programs covering hazardous materials, emergency response, occupational health, injury prevention, equipment operation, and chemical handling.
- Record and maintain safety incident data, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
- Conduct inspections and environmental investigations related to pollution sources and control methods in air, soil, and water.
- Represent EHS in public inquiries, internal and external audits, government agency interactions, and executive inquiries.
- Partner with Facilities and Laboratory support services to maintain compliance with programs and federal, state, and local requirements.
- Provide EHS support to other locations and contribute to continuous improvement and 5S activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- One of the following: a related master’s degree, Certified Industrial Hygienist certification, Professional Engineer license, or Certified Safety Professional certification.
- At least 4 years of directly related experience.
- Availability for flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, and for non-traditional business hours when needed.
- Ability to travel by car, airline, or other public transportation to sites; travel is expected at up to 10–15%.
- Ability to perform physically demanding duties, including extensive standing and walking, climbing stairs or ladders, lifting up to 30 lb, working in tight spaces and variable temperatures, and wearing a respirator and other PPE when required.
