Local Operations Manager (Sponsor Dedicated, Oncology)

What you will do

• Lead country-level operational planning and execution for complex, high-priority, or high-risk oncology clinical trials.
• Coordinate site feasibility, qualification, selection, recruitment planning, and site performance optimization.
• Act as the primary country-level sponsor contact and coordinate local study teams, investigators, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor trial progress, identify risks and trends, initiate CAPA activities, and drive quality and compliance improvements.
• Oversee country budgets, forecasting, vendor performance, invoices, local supplies, and trial delivery within budget.
• Support patient safety, informed consent management, regulatory approvals, data quality, inspection readiness, and essential document maintenance.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in a health- or science-related field.
• 3 to 5+ years of trial management experience, including independent management of complex clinical trials and country-level execution.
• Oncology experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, sponsor SOPs, local laws and regulations, protocols, and protocol-specific procedures.
• Strong IT skills and proficiency with relevant software and sponsor systems.
• Proficient spoken and written English and the applicable country language; willingness to travel occasionally with overnight stays.
