TL;DR

Senior Chemist (F/M/D) (Industrial Chemistry): Developing and improving products, providing technical service, and supporting customer trials and manufacturing methods with an accent on formulation, product analysis, and raw-material qualification. Focus on analyzing competitive products, preparing field samples, supporting customer complaints, and maintaining safe laboratory and waste-management practices.

Location: Mysore, India; onsite role with occasional travel to customer sites as needed

What you will do

Develop new and improved products to meet customer requirements quickly and effectively.
Provide technical service and support Sales, operations, customers, and other company departments.
Work with Sales to recommend products, application equipment, and application techniques.
Support field trials and customer complaints, including travel to customer sites when required.
Assist manufacturing with new or modified production methods that improve quality and profitability.
Analyze field and competitive product samples, qualify raw materials, prepare technical reports, and maintain laboratory safety and compliance.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
Approximately 10 years of industrial experience, including formulation experience, or an advanced degree in Chemistry or a related field.
Ability to establish priorities and meet target deadlines.
Ability to work onsite in Mysore and travel to customer sites when needed.
