Data Product Lead

What you will do

• Support the technical ownership and daily operation of enterprise data platforms, including Databricks Intelligence Platform.
• Implement reusable standards and components for data ingestion, transformation, consumption, and medallion architecture.
• Build and support batch and streaming pipelines with monitoring, failure handling, validation, and near-real-time patterns.
• Implement data quality checks covering validation, completeness, freshness, reconciliation, and pipeline transparency.
• Support platform reliability, incident response, operational dashboards, alerts, runbooks, performance, and cost-aware usage.
• Apply CI/CD, testing, infrastructure-as-code, security, access control, logging, metadata, and lineage practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics platforms, or data infrastructure.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with modern data platforms or lakehouse technologies such as Databricks.
• Experience implementing production data ingestion, transformation, validation, and data quality monitoring.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, secure engineering, and cloud environments.
• Programming experience with Python, SQL, Spark, and scripting for automation and orchestration.

Nice to have

• Experience operating enterprise data quality platforms.
• Exposure to data catalog, metadata, and lineage tools.
• Experience modernizing or migrating legacy ETL and data warehouse tools.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS.
