M&S Graduate Program- Engineering & Maintenance Lead-Shenzhen

What you will do

• Support and progressively take ownership of capital projects from design through closure, including planning, execution, CQV plans, and third-party contracts.
• Contribute to project initiation assessments, funding proposals, and data-driven recommendations for site leadership.
• Apply reliability engineering principles to improve manufacturing output and maintenance cost efficiency.
• Support engineering and maintenance budget allocation and develop practical expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing engineering, maintenance, and automation systems.
• Support GMP, FDA, and industry regulatory compliance while contributing to safety, quality, efficiency, and process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, Quality, Supply Chain, and central functions, progressing toward leadership of improvement projects.

Requirements

• At least 2–3 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, manufacturing operations, automation, or a related technical role, ideally in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or food industry.
• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical discipline; an MBA with engineering or manufacturing experience may also be considered.
• Experience planning, executing, and monitoring large-scale projects.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering and maintenance principles in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, communication, leadership, teamwork, influencing, and complex problem-solving skills.
• Proficient English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills required.

Nice to have

• CET6 or an equivalent higher-level English certificate.
