Off-Cycle Internship - Sustainability, Luxembourg (6-12 months)

Location: Luxembourg, Luxembourg. Hybrid arrangement with office work 4 days per week and remote work 1 day per week.

What you will do

• Support the development and execution of sustainable investment policies and processes across environmental, social, and governance topics.
• Research sustainable investment issues, assess material ESG risks in portfolio companies, gather engagement data, and analyze voting and engagement results.
• Monitor fund risks against regulatory and internal requirements, including UCITS and AIFMD requirements.
• Automate monitoring of VaR, stress testing, leverage, liquidity, counterparty, and sustainability risk parameters against established limits.
• Research and escalate breaches, automate regulatory controls, and maintain risk policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Prepare risk-monitoring reports for the EU management committee and boards and support the Conducting Officer and other team members.

Requirements

• Strong academic record, analytical ability, attention to detail, and fast-learning skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a strategic mindset and ownership from start to finish.
• Curiosity, ingenuity, research ability, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in working closely with data and technology.
• Capital markets knowledge and an interest in sustainable investment, climate topics, impact investing, or sustainability policies are preferred.
• Experience with data cleaning, validation, analysis, and visualization is preferred.
