Site Risk Officer

Location: Framingham, Massachusetts, United States. The role is intended for US and Puerto Rico residents.

Salary: $148,500–$214,500 per year, commensurate with experience.

What you will do

• Lead the standardized, comprehensive risk management process at the manufacturing site.
• Identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate industrial, quality, HSE, material, and other operational risks.
• Manage the site risk portfolio, remediation plans, and de-risking curves while monitoring mitigation effectiveness.
• Lead site risk governance and align priorities with product strategy and shortage-prevention plans.
• Maintain accurate risk data and risk pictures in QualiPSO for site and senior leadership.
• Represent the site in global risk management, resilience, and governance initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in risk management or risk evaluation.
• Experience leading, structuring, and monitoring risks at the site level.
• Strong leadership, influencing, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, regulations, quality management systems, and compliance standards.
• English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Degree or master’s degree in science, life sciences, or engineering.
• Experience in quality assurance, manufacturing operations, or pharmaceutical or biologics supply chain operations.
• Risk management or project management certification.
