What you will do

• Lead and oversee a multidisciplinary PMC engineering team of approximately 20+ personnel supporting a major pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
• Integrate process, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation and controls, automation, civil/structural, architecture, utilities, and validation disciplines.
• Provide engineering governance, technical decision-making, design integration, and performance oversight throughout FEED, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, qualification, and operational readiness.
• Coordinate technical interfaces among EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, client stakeholders, operations, quality, validation, regulatory, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Lead design reviews, technical risk assessments, constructability evaluations, management of change, value engineering, and design optimization.
• Oversee engineering deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, facility layouts, utility designs, automation strategies, and commissioning and qualification documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 15 years of engineering experience, including leadership of large capital projects exceeding $500,000 TIC.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering interfaces across EPC organizations in regulated GMP environments.
• Strong knowledge of engineering governance, design management, project delivery processes, and technical decision-making.
• Experience supporting commissioning, startup, and operational readiness activities.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting pharmaceutical or biotechnology facilities.
• Owner’s Representative or PMC experience on major capital projects exceeding $1B TIC.
• Professional Engineer license and/or PMP certification.
