TL;DR
Quality Engineer II (Playwright): Testing and validating behavioral health SaaS applications through manual functional, regression, and performance testing, supported by automated test development with an accent on Playwright, API testing, and defect management. Focus on designing comprehensive test coverage, investigating software issues, and integrating quality practices into Agile/Scrum delivery.

Location: Onsite in Vadodara, India, 5 days per week; day shift. Remote applicants will not be considered.

What you will do

  • Create and regularly update test scenarios, test cases, and test reports.
  • Conduct manual functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure software stability.
  • Develop and execute automated tests using Playwright and an object-oriented approach.
  • Document and track defects, verify fixes, and support issue investigations.
  • Collaborate with developers, the Scrum Master, Product Owner, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Contribute to test planning and Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including discussions of user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature testability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in manual testing of complex web-based applications.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, QA methodologies, and testing techniques.
  • Strong proficiency in Playwright and solid knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with bug-tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla, plus API testing with Postman or REST Assured.
  • Knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS, DOM, CI/CD tools, TDD, unit testing, and QA lifecycle processes; strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
