What you will do
- Support customer revenue cycle management implementations from kickoff through go-live under senior team guidance.
- Gather, document, and track billing, configuration, EDI, reporting, and payer requirements.
- Assist with EHR and RCMS configuration, claims setup, payer workflows, reporting needs, and clearinghouse setup.
- Participate in billing analysis, workflow sessions, customer training, and payer testing.
- Review configuration items for accuracy and implementation readiness.
- Maintain project documentation, respond to routine client questions, and escalate complex issues.
Requirements
- Entry-level profile with 0–2 years of experience in healthcare billing, EHR/EMR systems, customer support, implementation support, or revenue cycle operations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with EHR applications, healthcare billing systems, or administrative healthcare workflows preferred.
- Foundational knowledge of healthcare billing, revenue cycle operations, payer requirements, claims submission, or clearinghouse workflows.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with project managers, implementation specialists, credentialing teams, billing teams, and customer stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn platforms and travel up to 25% as needed.
Nice to have
- Behavioral health billing experience.
- Experience with UB-04 institutional billing, professional billing, residential, hospital, or ASC billing environments.
- SaaS, cloud software, EHR/EMR implementation, configuration, or technical support experience.
- Familiarity with CCBHC, HIPAA, and state-specific billing requirements.
- CPB certification.
