RCMS Configuration Associate (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid schedule in Tampa or Nashville; remote candidates will not be considered.

What you will do

• Support new customer revenue cycle management implementations from kickoff through go-live under the guidance of senior team members and project leadership.
• Gather, document, and track customer billing, configuration, EDI, reporting, and workflow requirements.
• Assist with EHR and RCMS configuration, including claims setup, payer requirements, billing workflows, reporting needs, and EDI clearinghouse setup.
• Participate in billing analysis, configuration reviews, workflow sessions, customer training, payer testing, and implementation-readiness activities.
• Review assigned configuration items, document adjustments, maintain project records, and provide updates through agendas, meeting minutes, CRM updates, and project management tools.
• Respond to routine customer inquiries, escalate complex issues, and build effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience using EHR applications, healthcare billing systems, administrative healthcare workflows, or revenue cycle operations preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in healthcare billing, EHR/EMR systems, customer support, implementation support, or revenue cycle operations preferred.
• Foundational understanding of healthcare billing, revenue cycle operations, payer requirements, EHR configuration, insurance, self-pay, payer setup, claims submission, and reimbursement workflows.
• Basic knowledge of CMS billing requirements, claim formats, payer enrollment, claims submission, or clearinghouse workflows preferred.
• Ability and willingness to learn hirify.global software platforms, billing workflows, payer setup, claims processing, reporting, and implementation standards.
• Ability to follow documented processes, complete configuration tasks, seek guidance when requirements are unclear, and accurately document customer requirements, configuration decisions, and follow-up items.
• Customer service, facilitation, written and verbal communication, organization, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with project managers, implementation specialists, credentialing teams, billing teams, and customer stakeholders in a remote environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Nice to have

• Behavioral health billing exposure.
• Exposure to UB-04 institutional billing, professional billing, residential, hospital, ASC, or similar billing environments.
• SaaS, cloud software, EHR/EMR implementation, configuration, or technical support experience.
• CPB (Certified Professional Biller) certification.
• Familiarity with CCBHC, HIPAA, and state-specific billing requirements.
