TL;DR
Indirect Tax Analyst (Finance): Supporting the global indirect tax compliance lifecycle, including sales, use, and property tax filings, reconciliations, audits, notices, and exemption certificates, with an accent on multi-jurisdictional tax operations and cross-functional coordination. Focus on researching tax requirements, resolving complex jurisdictional issues, and improving compliance processes through Vertex and SAP-enabled workflows.
Location: Hybrid schedule based at the North Charleston, South Carolina headquarters

What you will do
- Support the global indirect tax compliance lifecycle and coordinate with third-party service providers.
- Prepare reconciliations for sales, use, and property tax accounts.
- Resolve indirect tax notices with guidance from the tax management team.
- Support sales and property tax audits by coordinating with internal departments, site personnel, and external consultants.
- Conduct preliminary tax research and respond to tax-related customer and procurement inquiries.
- Review, validate, and support the management of exemption certificates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Up to three years of experience with sales and property taxes, including multi-jurisdictional exposure.
- Fundamental understanding of global indirect tax compliance processes.
- Familiarity with sales tax compliance software and ERP systems; Vertex and SAP are preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
- Must be able to work in the hybrid North Charleston, South Carolina headquarters schedule; employment sponsorship is not available.

- VAT tax compliance experience.
- Experience with Vertex and SAP.
