Auditor (Energy)

Location: 6750 Building, Ayala, Makati City, Philippines; hybrid work model with remote work from home several days a week. Flexibility in work hours may be required to collaborate across different time zones.

What you will do

• Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes across business units and functions.
• Perform SOX testing and analyze controls in complex financial processes.
• Use digital tools to analyze large data sets and identify key findings.
• Contribute to audit planning, quantify the impact of findings, and develop practical recommendations.
• Prepare concise audit reports covering observations, risks, and recommendations.
• Lead moderately complex audit engagements and facilitate discussions with business representatives and senior leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in audit, accounting, or financial controls.
• Ability to analyze business processes, assess risks, and communicate audit findings clearly.
• Availability for flexible work hours when collaborating with clients and business units across time zones.

Nice to have

• CPA, CIA, or another professional auditing or financial qualification.
• Experience in public accounting, assurance, internal control and risk advisory, or internal audit within a multinational company.
• Experience using technology and digital tools to improve business processes.
