Production Technician I, Fill/Pouch

Location: Marion, North Carolina, United States; on-site manufacturing role with a 6:30pm–6:30am shift

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and make minor adjustments to manual and automated filling equipment using HMI controls, photo-eyes, and sensors.
• Perform quality checks, inspect and disposition products, identify deviations, and stop production when necessary.
• Document manufacturing information in logs and the POMS system.
• Set up, load, and replenish production supplies using a powered industrial truck; execute batch, code, tank, and sub-lot changes.
• Escalate mechanical, alignment, setup, safety, quality, and discrepancy issues while using measurement tools and basic hand tools to maintain specifications.
• Perform scheduled cleaning and maintain a clean, safe work area using 6S principles.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Basic written and oral English communication skills are required.
• Ability to understand safety and quality instructions, read work instructions and drawings, and perform basic mathematics.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with calculators, measurement tools, and hand tools.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, perform frequent reaching and pushing/pulling, and pass the Powered Industrial Truck physical.

Nice to have

• Production technician or manufacturing experience, including preventive maintenance and machine troubleshooting.
