Temporary - Lab Technician 1

Location: East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Support laboratory sample activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on laboratory support policies, programs, and practices.
• Work in the sample preparation department of an environmental testing laboratory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a laboratory or office setting and remain standing for extended periods while conducting tests.
• Ability to work around strong smells and handle samples while wearing provided personal protective equipment.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
