TL;DR
Entry-Level Lab Technician 1 (Environmental Testing): Supporting sample preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance in an environmental testing laboratory with an accent on accurate documentation, database updates, and laboratory safety. Focus on handling environmental samples, maintaining organized records, and performing sustained onsite laboratory work around chemicals and odors.
Location: Pennsauken Township, New Jersey, United States; full-time onsite. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour

What you will do
- Support laboratory sample activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
- Maintain and update documentation and laboratory databases.
- Participate in training on laboratory support policies, programs, and practices.
- Work with standard laboratory and office equipment while following safety procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a laboratory or office setting and remain standing for extended periods while conducting tests.
- Ability to work around chemicals, fumes, gases, strong smells, and noxious odors.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including a lab coat, safety glasses, and gloves.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move up to 20 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.
