Lead Data Engineer (Databricks)

What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and monitoring applications.
• Drive migration from legacy data models and develop high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Integrate, transform, and standardize data across Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and other enterprise systems.
• Develop and optimize batch, near-real-time, and real-time data processing solutions.
• Provide technical leadership in the Databricks environment, mentor data engineers, and establish engineering standards.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver governed data solutions for analytics, scenario planning, intelligent automation, and AI use cases.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, analytics engineering, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong expertise in SQL, Python, data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and data warehouse architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Databricks Apps, PySpark, data lake architecture, API development, Git, and DevOps.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Platform, Azure Data Factory, machine learning enablement, data security and governance, compliance, and Power BI.
• Ability to lead large-scale data transformation initiatives, translate business requirements into scalable solutions, and collaborate with multicultural stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Supply Chain processes and ERP/SAP environments.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
