Assistant Regulatory Analyst (Food Safety)

What you will do

• Monitor international regulatory sources, documents, proposals, and policy updates relevant to regulatory limits.
• Research and interpret regulatory information, update database content, and complete related quality assurance activities.
• Validate Market Info Reports and add new markets, commodities, and substances to the database.
• Prepare regulatory summaries, weekly monitors, client charts, and other shared team deliverables.
• Identify topics requiring further research, escalate issues appropriately, and support clients through email and the ticketing system.
• Build knowledge of regulatory products, processes, and systems while managing multiple priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 0–3 years of relevant professional experience in food safety, science, regulatory affairs, compliance, law, agriculture, or a related field.
• Ability to research, review, and interpret complex regulatory documents.
• Strong analytical, fact-checking, detail-oriented, writing, and summarization skills.
• Experience organizing information in spreadsheets, databases, or similar systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, with strong organizational, time-management, judgment, and collaboration skills.
