Senior Vice President, Deployment (Nuclear Construction)

Location: Washington, DC, Columbia, SC, or Lexington, KY; responsibilities include work across TNC construction sites.

Estimated starting salary: $300,000–$350,000 annually, paid biweekly, less applicable withholdings and deductions.

What you will do

• Build TNC’s standardized deployment methodology, including processes, playbooks, stage gates, decision structures, and lessons-learned practices.
• Lead FEL-3 entry and FID preparation, validating site readiness, project schedules, cost estimates, responsibilities, and construction execution strategies.
• Own EPC contractor selection, contracting strategy, performance, and accountability across active nuclear construction projects.
• Direct construction quality, safety, schedule, cost, and regulatory execution, including NRC oversight and inspection readiness.
• Own commissioning, pre-operational testing, system walkdowns, and fuel-load readiness.
• Build and lead the multidisciplinary deployment organization while supporting investors, lenders, partners, and government financing engagements.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in nuclear construction, including direct accountability for large-scale nuclear plant construction or a major construction restart.
• Direct experience managing EPC contractors as an owner’s representative, including contract management, performance oversight, change-order discipline, and schedule recovery.
• Deep familiarity with NRC construction oversight, inspection programs, and the regulatory environment for nuclear new build.
• Experience with AP1000 or equivalent Generation III+ reactor technology is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead large, multidisciplinary engineering, construction, and project management organizations.
• Strong commercial judgment and experience leading a nuclear safety-conscious work environment.
