Associate Ecologist

What you will do

• Manage ecological consulting projects within budget and deliver them on time.
• Represent clients and facilitate external meetings.
• Prepare clear, high-quality written reports.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Present at or attend seminars, conferences, and workshops.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant consulting experience planning and delivering ecological studies for Queensland’s resources and infrastructure sectors.
• Tertiary qualification in Ecology, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
• In-depth knowledge of statutory requirements, including the Queensland EP Act, Offsets Act, VM Act, NC Act, and the Commonwealth EPBC Act.
