What you will do

  • Develop and execute therapy-area and brand medical strategies for current and future oncology assets.
  • Shape evidence-generation, medical education, scientific engagement, launch-readiness, and lifecycle-management plans.
  • Represent UK medical needs within EMEA and Global medical forums and contribute to cross-functional value teams.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Medical Advisors and other medical professionals, including succession and career planning.
  • Provide scientific leadership for investigator-initiated studies, advisory boards, expert meetings, congresses, and external stakeholder engagements.
  • Maintain medical signatory oversight, inspection readiness, quality, patient safety, and compliance with Johnson & Johnson policies, the ABPI Code of Practice, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • Medical degree such as MBBS, Pharmacy degree, or another relevant life sciences qualification.
  • More than four years of experience in Medical Affairs.
  • Experience in oncology or rare disease.
  • Medical Signatory certification or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Prior line-management or supervisory experience.
  • Strategic thinking, stakeholder influence, communication, prioritization, and team-management skills.

  • Experience in regional or global medical roles.
  • Experience leading through ambiguity, uncertainty, and organizational complexity.
  • Ability to connect scientific, clinical, healthcare-system, and business insights.
